Horseshoe Casino in Council Bluffs, Iowa, will hold the first
Horseshoe Poker Classic from Oct. 3-7.
The series climaxes with a two-day $2,600 no-limit hold'em event. Four tournaments will be held, as well as three mega-satellites and four "last chance" tournaments. The schedule follows:
- Oct. 3: 12 p.m., $340 no-limit hold'em; 3 p.m., $225 mega-satellite; 5 p.m., $115 second chance tournament
- Oct. 4: 12 p.m., $550 no-limit hold'em; 2 p.m. final table of $340 Event; 3 p.m., $225 mega-satellite; 5 p.m. $115 second chance tournament
- Oct. 5:12 p.m., $1,060 no-limit hold'em; 2 p.m., final table of $550 event; 3 p.m., $225 mega-satellite; 5 p.m., $115 second chance tournament
- Oct. 6:12 p.m., $2,600 no-limit main event; 2 p.m., final table of $1,060 event; 5 p.m., $115 last chance tournament
- Oct. 7: 4 p.m., main event final table
Single-table satellites will run daily starting at 9 a.m. during the series.
