On Monday, July 12 the World Series of Poker officially announced the schedule for the 2021 WSOP Europe, which is set to run from Nov. 19 – Dec. 8 this year. The WSOPE will once again be taking place at King’s Resort in Rozvadov, Czech Republic. This year the series will include 15 gold bracelet events, with more than €11 million in guaranteed prize money.
“We can’t wait to return to King’s Resort for the 2021 WSOP Europe and bringing bracelets back to Europe,” said WSOP Director Gregory Chochon. “King’s Resort has become the center of the poker world in Europe and it’s the best place for a poker reunion all players can celebrate.”
The same venue will play host to a WSOP Circuit series ahead of the bracelet-event festivities, which will bring the total of guaranteed prize pools to over €15 million.
Event buy-ins will range from as low as €350 for the €300,000 guaranteed kickoff event, and as high as €50,000 for the €2 million guaranteed high roller. The centerpiece of the while affair will once again be the WSOP Europe €10,000 buy-in no-limit hold’em main event, which sports a €5 million guarantee.
The most recent WSOP Europe festival was held in 2019. Alexander Kolonias emerged victorious from a field of 541 entries in the main event to earn his first gold bracelet and the top prize equivalent to $1,258,383 USD. After a year off due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the series is set to crown a new champion in 2021.
“After the difficult year 2020, we are excited to give the players what they deserve and have been waiting for, the biggest tournament series in Europe with the biggest guarantees,” said Leon Tsoukernik, owner of King’s Resort. “We are looking forward to giving top service and hospitality for all poker players as per King’s Resort standards.”
The entire series schedule can be found in Card Player’s tournament database, and all of the bracelet events are listed below:
