The rich got richer Tuesday night in Las Vegas, even if it was only by $1,800 as the owner of the Las Vegas Raiders celebrated the team’s first win of the year by hitting a slot payout the following night.

According to a report from TMZ Sports, Mark Davis, who inherited the team after his father and legendary owner Al Davis passed away in 2011, visited Virgin Hotels Las Vegas and was playing a Wheel of Fortune slot machine around 11 p.m.

On one of his pulls, he hit an $1,875 payout, adding ever so slightly to his $500 million net worth. Davis owns both the Raiders and Las Vegas’ WNBA franchise, the Aces. The payout came a day after the team’s 33-27 overtime win against the heavily favored Baltimore Ravens.

Virgin Hotels is newest casino in Las Vegas and the first to be operated by a native tribe. Last March, the Connecticut-based Mohegan Tribe celebrated the grand opening of the Mohegan Sun Casino at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas. The near-strip casino takes the place of the former Hard Rock Casino.

While the tribe runs the gambling operation, billionaire Richard Branson’s Virgin Group Ltd. is in control of the property’s hotel.
