Cleveland’s casino has a brand new poker room just in time for the summer.
Earlier this month, JACK Casino Cleveland unveiled its upgraded poker room, home to 6,400 square feet of space and 26 poker tables. The room is located on the second floor of the downtown casino.
“Our Grand Opening weekend was a major success for not only JACK but our poker community," said Chris Lose, Poker Room Manager for JACK Cleveland Casino.
“Hosting an event at this caliber, we were able to achieve something that hasn’t been done in our area before. We saw players come in from all over to play in our room and overwhelming had a great time.”
The poker room brought in a familiar face in the poker community to help celebrate the event.
“We were honored to have the lovely Veronica Brill from Poker After Dark host the weekend which added another exciting element to the event for our poker community while showcasing the amazing space,” Lose added. "We are confident that the success of this weekend put our community on the national stage in poker.”
The 26 poker tables are an increase from 23. The room offers cash games and daily tournaments, featuring buy-ins for players of different experience levels.
The upgraded poker room comes as Ohio is soon set to see its first legal sportsbooks. Poker and sports betting are two gaming offerings that have strong overlapping demographics.
