Nicki Minaj Invests In Colorado Online SportsbookRapper Puts Name Behind Sportsbook Called MaximBet |

World-famous rapper Nicki Minaj has invested an undisclosed amount of money into an upstart online sportsbook.
ZK International Group Co. (ZKIN) announced that Minaj is “bringing her artistry and influence to the world of sports betting” through a multi-year, global partnership with MaximBet, a ZKIN portfolio company.
ZKIN has invested $25 million into the sportsbook MaximBet and currently owns 16% of the company. Minaj is now considered a “significant shareholder” in MaximBet.
“Nicki Minaj is recognized for disrupting the male-dominated industry of rap music and is planning to do the same with sports betting,” a presser stated. Minaj is expected to bring more women into sports betting, a growing demographic for the industry.
MaximBet is currently live in the state of Colorado and “is on track to launch in nine additional U.S. states and the Canadian province of Ontario.”
“The ground-breaking partnership with Minaj allows the company to accentuate experiential sports betting even more by continuing to capitalize on the explosive growth of the sector,” stated the announcement. “The total addressable market in the United States for online sports-betting and i-gaming is growing at 32% annually and is expected to reach $58 billion by 2025.”

Nicki Minaj has joined the board of directors of MaximBet, following an investment in the company.
This makes Minaj the sports betting industry's first female lead ambassador and executive.
