bestbet Jacksonville is bringing back their popular Christmas in July high hand promotion from July 12–23. A packed poker room is expected yet again with high hands starting at $1,200 on July 12 and increasing daily up to $2,300 on July 23.
The annual promotion started back in 2017 to kick off the summer and quickly became a signature event.
“During the summertime, players are out traveling and there are an influx of tourists visiting Florida,” said Jesse Hollander, Executive Director of Card Room Operations at bestbet. “Having a big promotion like this that people can look forward to brings in extra excitement plus, it’s a great way for players to stay out of the blistering Florida heat!”
Last year, the promotion brought in record crowds to Florida’s largest poker room and Hollander expects to see similar results this summer.
“We didn’t have this promotion in 2020 because of COVID and were uncertain about bringing it back in 2021,” said Hollander. “But we received so many requests that we decided to give it a shot and it was a tremendous success.”
The Christmas in July promotion primarily takes place at bestbet Jacksonville, but it will become a shared promotion during the last two days on July 22 and 23 with bestbet Orange Park.

• July 16: $1,600 High Hands every 60 minutes from 12pm – 12am
• July 17: $1,700 High Hands every 60 minutes from 12pm – 12am
• July 18: $1,800 High Hands every 60 minutes from 2pm – 12am
• July 19: $1,900 High Hands every 60 minutes from 2pm – 12am
• July 20: $2,000 High Hands every 60 minutes from 2pm – 12am
• July 21: $2,100 High Hands every 60 minutes from 2pm – 12am
• July 22: $2,200 High Hands every 60 minutes from 12pm – 12am

The poker room opened in 2012 with a spacious layout of more than 80 tables, including a VIP room, full-service bar and kitchen, and simulcast area with numerous large screen TVs to see the action. The card room also has a popular live stream with multiple games per week hosted on their YouTube and Twitch channels.
