Station Casinos Shares Details Of New Downtown Las Vegas Property

Wildfire Casino To Open In February With Slots, Sportsbook

RenderingStation Casinos has unveiled plans and renderings for its new Wildfire Casino location on Fremont Street in Downtown Las Vegas.

The new casino destination, set to open in early February, will offer guests numerous gaming options, including a sportsbook. Unfortunately, there will not be a poker room at the new casino.

Crews recently installed exterior signage on the building. The 21,000-square-foot casino will feature over 200 slot machines, plus bar-top gaming and electronic table games.

Wildfire Casino will feature an STN-branded sportsbook. The casino’s food offerings will include IHOP and local Mexican eatery Tacos El Pastor.

“This Wildfire, just like all Wildfire properties, is going to be a great addition to the neighborhood, and everyone who walks through the doors will enjoy the friendly environment of this new neighborhood casino,” said Joel Hampe. General Manager and Vice President of Wildfire Gaming. “This Wildfire will offer our guests a new and elevated experience that they will love.”

Station Casinos, based in Nevada, has more than a dozen casinos. It is one of the major players in the local casino market. The casino operator owns Wildfire Gaming.

The majority of Las Vegas casino revenue is generated on the Strip, but Downtown Las Vegas is a key part of the industry. In the most recently completed fiscal year, casinos in the area won $289.2 million from gamblers, according to figures from the Nevada Gaming Control Board. Casinos on the Strip won $2.83 billion during the same time period.

Other Downtown Las Vegas casinos include Golden Nugget, Four Queens, Golden Gate Hotel & Casino, Fremont Hotel & Casino, Binion’s Gambling Hall, and The D Casino & Hotel.
