WPT Turks and Caicos Classic Starts Today

The World Poker Tour had landed in the Caribbean. The Turks and Caicos Poker Classic, held at The Players Club, in Club Med, begins today at noon ET.

CardPlayer.com's entire tournament team is there to bring the world live updates, chip counts, videos, and reports from the eighth tournament of season six of the WPT.

Jack McClelland and his tournament team from Bellagio are in charge of running this tournament, so players should expect a smooth event. The event was originally supposed to start yesterday with the first "day one," but organizers decided to have the entire field start today after they procured more space to accommodate the players.

The final table is set to begin at 10 a.m. ET on Sunday, Sept. 30. The Turks and Caicos Classic is a $7,700 buy-in event.
