The poker room at Coushatta Casino Resort in Kinder, Louisiana is the place to be for tournament action during the second half of September. The 2023 Coushatta Seven Clans Poker Series features a total of 14 events between Sept. 14-24, including two tournaments with $100,000 guaranteed prize pools.
With a variety of formats and buy-ins ranging from $200 up to $1,000, this poker tournament festival offers something for every player.
The $100,000 guaranteed $400 buy-in double bag bonus event kicks off the festival in style. According to the structure sheet, “Players advancing to Day 2 twice will receive $1,000 for their second bag or two $600 main event seats.” That tournament features five starting flights from Sept. 14-16.
The centerpiece of the series is the $100,000 guaranteed $600 buy-in no-limit hold’em main event that runs from Sept. 22-24. Players will start with 40,000 in tournament chips, with 40-minute levels and initial blinds of 100-100 with a 100 big blind ante. Late registration and re-entry will be available through the beginning of level 10.
The tournament features three starting flights, with the first getting underway at 4 PM local time on Friday, Sept. 22. Flight 1B kicks off at 10 AM on Saturday, Sept. 23. The third and final flights will commence at 5 PM that evening. Those who make it through their starting flight will reconvene at 2 PM on Sunday, Sept. 24 to play down to a champion.
There are also two rookie events, two seniors events, a ladies event, and a tag team tournament on the schedule.
