EDIT: Just hours after the publishing of this story, Benny Glaser won yet another WCOOP title, his unprecedented sixth victory of the series. Glaser took down the $320 buy-in six-max no-limit hold’em event for $55,705. Remarkably, this was his first no-limit hold’em win ever at the series. He now has 24 overall COOP titles.

Benny Glaser is crushing the 2023 World Championship of Online Poker on PokerStars. The British poker pro has won five titles so far this series, bringing his total to 13 WCOOP titles to extend the record that already belonged to him. In the process, he also grew his record total of overall ’COOP victories with 23 total, having also won ten Spring Championship of Online Poker events over the years.
This online mixed game hot streak comes on the heels of several other major accomplishments for the 34-year-old Southhampton, UK resident. In the final days of 2022, Glaser finished second in the largest World Poker Tour event ever held, the WPT World Championship. That deep run saw him earn a career-high payday of $2,830,000.
At the 2023 World Series of Poker, Glaser took down the $10,000 triple draw deuce-to-seven lowball championship for his fifth gold bracelet. He now has three more bracelets than any other British player, which is no mean feat given that England is third on the list of bracelet-winning nations behind only the United States and Canada.
Glaser, who plays as ‘RunGodlike’ on PokerStars, has demonstrated his abilities across a number of games and formats this WCOOP, with each of his victories coming in different disciplines. He kicked off his campaign by topping a field of 178 entries in the $109 buy-in Badugi event, earning $3,550 for the win. He then navigated his way through a field of 91 entries in the $1,050 deuce-to-seven triple draw lowball championship event, securing $22,650 as the champion.
The $1,050 no-limit single-draw version of deuce-to-seven lowball drew just 51 entries. Glaser dragged the last pot in that one, adding another $19,490for his efforts. The largest payday he has earned for a win this series came when he topped a field of 70 entries in the $2,100 pot-limit Omaha eight-or-better six-max event for $44,201.
On Sunday, Glaser captured his fifth win of the series by besting 34 entries in the $1,050 no-limit five-card draw event, adding $14,207 to his tally.

Glaser’s very first ‘COOP win came back in 2016, when he took down a $2,100 stud eight-or-better event during that year’s SCOOP. His first WCOOP win came in 2018, when he emerged victorious in a $55 pot-limit Omaha six-max tournament.
