Hustler Casino Live’s “Million Dollar Game” was once again the site of some major fireworks on Tuesday night, this time with “Texas Mike” Moncek running a massive bluff using the famous Doyle Brunson hand.

The $500-$1,000 cash game hand began with high-stakes pro Charles “Chalie” Hook raising the action to $6,000 with 7Club Suit 8Club Suit from early position. Livestream regular ‘Majik Handz’ called with 10Club Suit 9Club Suit in the cutoff, and Moncek looked at 10Heart Suit 2Spade Suit before making the call from the $2,000 straddle.

The flop brought ASpade Suit 5Heart Suit 4Club Suit and Moncek checked. Hook, sitting on a little less than $800,000 behind, bet $5,000. Handz folded and Moncek made the call. The turn brought the 6Spade Suit, completing the inside straight draw for Hook. Moncek, who sat on a stack of more than $1.3 million, checked and Hook bet $16,000.

With no chance to win the pot at a showdown, Moncek then raised to $52,000. That brought a call from Hook, who was in a dominating position. The AHeart Suit then fell on the river, pairing the board, and Moncek once again checked, with Hook laying out a hefty value bet of $160,000.

It wasn’t long before Moncek announced all in, getting a surprised reaction from Hook. If he called, he would scoop a pot worth more than $1.6 million.

Instead, Hook figured his opponent for a full house and mucked, sending the huge pot to Moncek with nothing.

Moncek chuckled a bit as he showed the massive bluff. The 10-2 was the final hand that legendary Brunson held when he won back-to-back World Series of Poker main events in 1976 and 1977.

The hand also worked out well in this situation for Moncek, who got compliments from the rest of the table while Hook tried to shake off the play.

“That was a sick bluff,” Hook admitted.

Despite his nickname, the high roller hails from North Barrington, Illinois, has more than $1.8 million in live tournament winnings, including two WSOP bracelets and four WSOP Circuit rings. The first bracelet came in a $1,500 limit hold’em event in 2022 for $145,856. He followed that up last year with a win in the $5,000 no-limit hold’em/pot-limit Omaha event for $534,499.

In the last month he has been playing more live streamed cash games, however, and is up $758,525 overall according to Highroll Poker. Although Moncek finished up $516,000 overall on the night, the big winner was Peter, who profited $1,525,000 while Tom ‘Durrrr’ Dwan finished down $992,000. Hook finished the session down $557,000.
