Ori Hasson Wins Over $800,000 At Wynn Summer Classic Mystery Bounty Poker Tournament

Hasson Added $369,500 To His Big Win In Just Bounties Alone While Topping A Field Of 2,598 In Las Vegas

Ori HassonOri Hasson won not only $460,570, but he added another $369,500 in bounties for an impressive haul as the champion of the Mystery Bounty event at the Wynn Summer Classic. That overall haul worth $830,070 took the career earnings for the player from Israel to over $1.8 million.

The $2,200 buy-in no-limit hold’em poker tournament attracted a large field of 2,598 entries over the course of four starting flights thanks to the growing popularity of the Mystery Bounty format all over the poker industry. This resulted in a total prize pool of $5,196,000.

The top 322 players made at least $3,051 in prize money, and there were many big names that cashed in one of the marquee events hosted at the Wynn during the busy summer poker season in Las Vegas. Notables that made the money included Aaron Pinson (13th), Peter Mugar (20th), Ruth Graham (21st), Kao Saechao (41st), Haixia Zhang (58th), Vincent Moscati (86th), Dylan Wilkerson (87th), Tony Sinishtaj (89th), Luke Vrabel (107th), Joe Serock (119th), Kevin MacPhee (137th), Zachary Donovan (143rd), Joe Kuether (155th), Prahlad Friedman (173rd), Loni Hui (176th), Mukul Pahuja (177th), Haven Taylor (181st), Jamie Kerstetter (183rd), Jim Collopy (221st), Peter Neff (244th), Asher Conniff (260th), John Gordon (276th), Landon Tice (278th), TK Miles (294th), Benjamin Keeline (300th), Mike Linster (305th), and Jacob Bazeley (315th).

The final table included a handful of notable players with six-figure earnings, including Wasim Assaf, who was over $365,000 after he cashed in eighth place. Karo Nuri from Switzerland found his earnings over $326,000 after busting in seventh place, and World Poker Tour online event winner Jareth East from the UK held over $2.3 million after leaving the field in sixth place. Giovanni Zanette from South Africa bumped his total earnings up to just below $670,000 after finishing in third place, and the runner-up Damien Gayer of France scored the largest cash of his career worth $423,536 to take his total purse in poker tournaments close to half-a-million dollars.
