Borgata to Hold a Deep-Stack Tournament

The Borgata Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City is the home of the World Poker Tour Borgata Poker Open and is looking to give players a chance to compete in a multiple-day tournament with large starting stacks, similar to WPT events, for half the price. The Borgata Deep Stack Tournament is a $5,200 buy-in no-limit hold'em event scheduled for Nov. 11, and players will receive $50,000 in starting chips.

Levels will increase every 60 minutes on day one and every 75 minutes for the rest of the event. Qualifiers have already begun, but there are three satellites left before the event takes place. The following is the satellite and event schedule:

• Nov. 9, 6 p.m. - $570 buy-in satellite
• Nov. 10, 10 a.m. - $570 buy-in satellite
• Nov. 10, 3 p.m. - $1,100 buy-in satellite
• Nov. 11, 11 a.m. - Deep Stack day one
• Nov. 12, 11 a.m. - Deep Stack day two
• Nov. 13, 11 a.m. - Deep Stack day three
• Nov. 14, 11 a.m. - Deep Stack day four
• Nov. 15, 11 a.m. - Deep Stack day five
