The Grand Casino, Brussels, Belgium, hosts a charity "team poker" event this Sunday, Nov. 18 in aid of 11 charities. For the past six months, Belgian poker players have been vying to win a place on one of the 11 competing teams who will play for charities including Sensoa, Dreamcatcher, Scale Dogs, Down Syndroom Vlaanderen, FOS Socialistische Solidariteit, and Similes.

Sponsors of the event include Globalserve.be, Pokerbrothers.be, Play the Game, National Paintball Games, and JPR Indoor Karting. Online auctions are taking place via http://veiling.poker4charity.be, and players can bid for, among other things, a paintball session with De Fixkes, karting with standup comedian Youssef El Mousaoui, a specially designed recipe from Jeroen Meus, and a unique cartoon by cartoonist Bart Vantieghem.

After the tournament, entertainment will be provided by standup comedians Bert Gabriëls, Youssef El Mousaoui, Jerry Vandyck, Sven Hardies, Latif and Marcel De Wit. Spectators are invited to attend the game but must be at least 21 to gain entry to the casino.
