The Global Poker Strategic Thinking Society (GPSTS) is holding its second intercollegiate poker match tomorrow when teams from the University of Southern California and UCLA meet on UCLA's campus. The match takes place at 1 p.m. PT.

Annie Duke is scheduled to speak on the psychology of poker an hour before the match begins. The match coincides with the football rivalry game between the two Southern California schools that takes place this weekend.

The team poker matches feature five players from each team playing a best-of-three heads-up match with their opponents. The players are ranked one to five and will play the their counterpart of the same rank on the opposing team. The player that wins the match earns one point for their team, and the first team to earn three points wins.

The first match took place a few weeks ago at Harvard, where the GPSTS was formed. Harvard beat Yale's poker team, and a day later, its football team also beat Yale.

The GPSTS plans on holding several intercollegiate matches leading up to the first National Collegiate Poker Tournament that will be held in March.

There are currently GPSTS locations at Harvard, UCLA, Brown, Stanford, Carnegie Mellon, Cornell, University of Michigan, and George Washington University, and more are being formed.
