PokerStars Sunday Million

The PokerStars Sunday Million lured 6,881 entrants last night, building a $1,376,200 prize pool. That prize pool amounted to the largest in a Sunday Million since July. There was almost $200,000 on the line for the first-place finisher, if no deal was made at the final table.

After 6,879 players had bitten the dust, it was just WestMenlo92 and BIGbossM vying for the top prize, and no deal had yet been struck, so the two players were duking it out for an almost $100,000 difference in paydays. BIGbossM wound up laying the final blow on WestMenlo92 to collect the full $194,044 top prize.

The final results were:
  1. BIGbossM -- $194,044

  3. Tired Loser -- $68,810
  4. Nikish25 -- $55,048

Full Tilt $750,000 Guarantee

The $750,000-guaranteed tournament at Full Tilt had 4,026 entrants and a prize pool of $805,200 last night. That prize pool just barely edged out last week's $805,000, making last night's tournament the biggest weekly $750,0000-guaranteed tournament held on Full Tilt.

Joe "Dyzalot" Morneau made it to threehanded play in the event along with lleall and kvonk88. Dyzalot eventually hit the virtual rail in third place ($56,364) and it was heads up between lleall and kvnok88. Kvnok88 scooped the final pot to land himself $142,190.

UltimateBet $200,000 Guarantee

Brock 'Maria Nuccia' ParkerThe UltimateBet $200,000-guaranteed event had 898 entrants last night, dipping back into the 800s for the first time in a month. UltimateBet put up $20,400 to match the posted guarantee.

The final table of the event was absolutely stacked (see the final results, below). Wade "soggyvag" Woelfel, busto_soon, and play_2_win07 eventually rose to the top and fought in three-way play. Busto_soon was sent to the wayside in third place ($18,500) and it was down to soggyvag versus play_2_win07. Bodog $100,000 Guarantee

Eight hundred and nine entrants bought into the Bodog $100,000-guaranteed tournament last night. That attendance number meant Bodog was left to pick up the $19,100 tab to match the $100,000 guarantee. The number of entrants was also down from last weekend, when 833 entrants bought in, but still represented a good showing compared to the attendance numbers for the last few months.

Axaverl and bokerpux went head to head as the final two players standing, but azaverl was ultimately the only player in the tournament to avoid elimination. He earned $25,000 for first place in the event.
