Since being diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 1999, the Emmy Award winner has been passionately committed to raising money and awareness for the disease. The benefiting foundation of the event is the Montel Williams MS Foundation, which has raised more than $1 million for research since its inception in 2000.

Known as a “disease of many scars,” multiple sclerosis is a chronic degenerative disorder that affects the nervous system. Symptoms of the disease are often very debilitating, and there is currently no cure. Finding one is the ultimate goal of the organization. Currently 100 percent of the public’s donations go directly to funding research.

To donate to the foundation, please make checks payable to The Montel Williams MS Foundation, and send it to the following address:

331 West 57 Street, PMB #420
New York, NY 10019
