This week sees a unique promotion at PartyPoker.com which will see eight players win $8,000 packages to attend the world’s largest festival in Rio de Janeiro between Feb. 2 and 5, 2008.
Starting today, Jan. 12, and running until Jan. 18, players who earn 20 PartyPoints in a day qualify for the following day’s Rio Carnival satellite where 10 seats in the Jan. 20 grand final will be awarded.
Players who earn 50 PartyPoints will win a seat into the following day's satellite where 25 seats to the grand final are up for grabs. Players who earn 750 PartyPoints between Jan. 12 and 18 automatically qualify for a seat in the grand final.
The $8,000 package includes five nights accommodation for two in a four-star hotel, two tickets to one night of the parade, a professional translator, transfers in a chauffeur-driven limo, and a travel voucher worth $2,200 per couple.
