Men “The Master” Nguyen is coming off of his recent World Poker Tour final table nicely, as he just won event No. 10 at the L.A. Poker Classic.
It was a $300 buy-in seven-card stud event with 173 runners and a more than $50,000 prize pool. Nguyen beat Raymond Bonavida heads up to win more than $15,000 for 
first place.
Nguyen also cashed in event No. 8, a $500 buy-in no-limit hold’em tournament. Out of the 550 players that started, he finished 10th. The eventual winner was David Gutfreund, who took home almost $67,000 for first.
