Instead of hugs and kisses, it will be bluffs and check-raises this weekend. Valentine’s Day is only a week a way, and two casinos are giving people a new way to celebrate the holiday with poker.

On Saturday, there will be a Valentine’s Date Night tag-team no-limit hold’em tournament. It is a $125 buy-in event that begins at 4:15 p.m. The two-person teams will switch every blind level, which are 20 minutes long. Capping off Sweet Heart’s Weekend is Sunday’s $60 buy-in Queen of Hearts ladies no-limit hold’em tournament, which begins at 2:15 p.m.

Last year, the winning couple was World Series of Poker bracelet winner Brandon Cantu and friend Alexia Standard. They beat the 86 teams that played to win just under $6,200. Standard dedicated her win to the memory of her late father, who passed away in a roadside accident one week before the event.
