Bodog Poker Open Main Event Qualifiers Start Today

Bodog Poker is gearing up for the richest tournament in the site’s history as the Bodog Poker Open (BPO) $500 buy-in main event is quickly approaching, and starting today, players are getting even more ways to qualify for the event.

The main event is scheduled for Sunday, March 9 at 4 p.m. ET. Bodog Poker is hosting a BPO main event satellite every Monday through Friday night at 8:35 p.m. EST, with 20 seats guaranteed to be awarded for the BPO main event in each tournament.

The following is the satellite schedule:

  • Feb. 25 — $40+$4
  • Feb. 26 — $50+$5
  • Feb. 27 — $69+$6
  • Feb. 28 — $40+$4
  • Feb. 29 — $50+$5
  • March 3 — $40+$4
  • March 4 — $50+$5
  • March 5 — $69+$6
  • March 6 — $40+$4
  • March 7 — $50+$5

The BPO will feature five preliminary events, all leading up to the series' championship event, which begins March 3. Bodog Poker is also adding a combined total of $75,000 in additional money to the BPO events' prize pools. Winners of the preliminary events will also receive an entry to the BPO main event in addition to their tournament winnings. 

Here is the schedule of events for the series:

  • March 3 — $250+$20 no-limit hold’em ($10,000 added)
  • March 4 — $300+$25 shorthanded no-limit hold’em ($10,000 added)     
  • March 5 — $100+$10 no-limit hold’em ($10,000 added)
  • March 6 — $200+$15 pot-limit hold’em ($10,000 added)
  • March 7 — $150+$10 limit hold’em ($10,000 added)
  • March 8 — satellite day
  • March 9 — $470+$30 main event ($25,000 added)
