Party Poker Late Night Poker Final Tomorrow

Part One of Late Night Poker Final Tomorrow; East versus West Team Cup Under Way

In a busy couple of days for PartyPoker.com, the much-anticipated finale of Late Night Poker is broadcast on Channel Four at 12.40 a.m. on Tuesday night/Wednesday morning while the East versus West Team Cup II is under way at the Concord Casino, Vienna, Austria.

The mouthwatering lineup for the trailblazing Late Night Poker includes Ian Frazer, Surinder Sunar, Roland De Wolfe,Roland De Wolfe Andy Black, Eddy Scharf, Maria Demetriou, David Tighe, and Andreas Jörbeck.

The $5,000 buy-in event, which was the first in the world to use under-table cameras in 1999, saw 49 players play for a prize pool of $335,000 ($90,000 added by PartyPoker), with the winner collecting $125,000. Commentary is by former European Poker Tour winner Vicky Coren.

Meanwhile, 30 players from Eastern Europe and 30 players from Western Europe were competing in the €60,000 freeroll East versus West Team Cup II in Vienna ahead of the Spring Poker Festival there.

Dave “Devilfish” Ulliott heads the western contingent, which also contains Roland De Wolfe, Ciaran O’Leary, and Marcel Luske, while Tony G fronts the eastern team backed by Alexander Kravchenko and last year’s European Challenge winner Branimir Brunovic. This event is a freeroll for online qualifiers for tomorrow’s $3,150 buy-in European Challenge II.

The final table of 10 for the East versus West Team Cup will share €37,500, while the winning team gets €22,500.
