Card Player: How did you hear about SpadeClub?
Tim “timngail” Couse: Mike Smith (koozman) and John Bovee (Bigslick), players on SpadeClub and friends of mine, told me about the site.
CP: Do you have a story behind your screen name?
TC: Yes, my beautiful wife and I just got married less than a year ago, so hence the name timngail.
CP: How long have you been playing poker? What was your first experience with poker like?
TC: Four years steady online and at casinos. About four years ago, I entered my first tourney and busted out in less than a minute.
CP: Do you consider yourself a recreational player, amateur, or professional poker player?
TC: Amateur, heading towards pro.
CP: Do you think SpadeClub is a good learning ground for people who are looking to start playing?
TC: SpadeClub is an excellent learning ground for new players and a great site for experienced players, as well.
CP: When do you plan on cashing out your winnings, and do you have any plans for the money you just won?
TC: I just cashed out this weekend, and I am using some money for a big tourney at Turning Stone Casino.

TC: I’ve played many sites through the years, but in my opinion, this is the best site I’ve seen to date, as the cards come out like real life tourneys, and the competition is great!
CP: How do you plan on keeping your points up on SpadeClub?
TC: By playing as much as I can without my wife getting grumpy — just kidding, honey.
CP: Does your playing style differ when playing a points tournament versus a cash tournament on SpadeClub?
TC: Yes, most definitely; I play tighter in the money tournaments.
CP: What advice can you give to other SpadeClub members looking to go deep in these tournaments?
TC: Be patient in the beginning, and watch how the betting is going, and play the good hands strongly.
CP: Have you met anyone interesting at the tables that you’ve chatted with a lot during the games?
TC: I’ve met many interesting people from all over the world, there are too many to list.
CP: Anything else you would like to add?
