This Sunday, May 25 at 9 p.m. ET, Lee Watkinson will host the Save Captive Chips charity tournament on Full Tilt Poker.

The buy-in is $10, half of which goes to the charitable cause while the other half will go to the prize pool. The event can be found under the “Tournaments” tab. The first-place finisher in the tournament will receive money, along with a Curtis & Co. watch.

The $5 donated from each buy-in will benefit both the Cortland Brandenberg Foundation developed to help save chimpanzees, as well as to assist in establishing a new sanctuary in Watkinson’s home state of Washington, which is scheduled to open in June.

Those who would like to make a direct donation to the Cortland Brandenberg Foundation can contact Timmi DeRosa at (702) 823-5728.

Card Player TV recently toured the home of Watkinson. Check back for the High Stakes Living video, to be released within the next month.

New players must download the software at Full Tilt Poker’s website and should type in “Animal Lovers” in the referral code to ensure animal shelters receive continued funding. Players can also take advantage of a special Full Tilt deposit bonus through Card Player.
