Bodog Poker and CardPlayer.com have teamed up once again to offer Card Player readers two exclusive shots at a $10,000 World Series of Poker main event seat — one of which is completely free.
On Sunday, June 8, at 3:15 p.m. ET, Bodog is holding a WSOP main-event qualifier with a guaranteed five seats. The tournament costs $270 to buy into directly, but on Friday, June 6 and Saturday, June 7, Card Player-exclusive qualifiers for the five-seat guaranteed event will be held, the first being a freeroll and the second having a buy-in of only $10.
The freeroll will be held this Friday at 9:05 p.m. ET. The tournament, called the Card Player - Free 5 Seat Qualifier, can be found in the “Scheduled Tournament” lobby by selecting the “All” tab and then the “Private” radio button. The winner of the event will get $270 in tournament credits, which can be used to enter the five-seat guarantee on Sunday. The password needed to register is “freeshot” (all lowercase).
The $10 buy-in event takes place the next day, this Saturday, at 4:05 p.m. ET. This tournament has a twist: The two final players will win $270 in tournament credits for the Sunday event, plus the prize pool will be distributed normally — the two $270TC payouts are provided as overlays and are not taken from the prize pool. The tournament, called the Card Player - 5 Seat GTD Qualifier, can be found in the “Scheduled Tournament” lobby by selecting the “All” tab and then the “Private” radio button. The password needed to register is “cp5seat” (all lowercase).
