Bodog Waterford Open, Ireland Marks Move Into European Market For Online Giant

Bodog, the Antiguan-based online gaming operator, has announced its sponsorship of the Waterford Open, Ireland from Jun. 12 to 15, 2008. The move marks the company’s first sponsored poker tournament in Europe.

The European ranking event, being held in the Majestic Hotel, Tramore, has an estimated prize pool of €120,000 with a buy-in of €500 + €50.

Players can qualify for the event via a freeroll on Jun. 8 at 6 p.m. GMT and a series of qualifiers from Jun. 8 to 11 at 8 p.m. GMT at BodogLife.net. Registration is open now.
