Action began at the final table for the $1,500 no-limit hold'em six-handed event at 2:30 p.m. and the final six players battled until one of them emerged with the bracelet. A handful of professionals looking for their first win was highlighted by Devin and Rep Porter (not related). There was one green rookie at the table playing at his first World Series of Poker (Anatoly Shulyuk from Ontario). There was also one Eruopean representative at the table, Michiel Burmmelhius from Amsterdam. In the end Rep held his first gold bracelet after holding and protecting the chip lead for the majority of play.
