Playtech Announces Italian Poker Partnership with SnaiPlaytech Expands Further With Signing Of Italy's Leading Land Based Operator Snai |

Playtech has today announced Snai as its first Italian licensee on its Italian poker network. The company will now receive Playtech’s entire range of poker tournaments, which will be integrated with Snai’s online betting system.
Mor Weizer, Chief Executive Officer of Playtech, said, “As the leading software provider to the online gaming industry, working extensively in regulated markets, we are very pleased to establish our foothold in Italy through our partnership with Snai. Playtech has the world's largest non US liquidity pool and intends to leverage this experience, to establish a strong presence in the newly regulated Italian poker market."
The software is currently only available in "play money” mode, but “real money'' tournaments are scheduled for launch late 2008.
Chairman of Snai, Maurizio Ughi said, “Our aim is to be the leading player in the Italian market for skill games, as we are for horse racing and sports betting. We look forward to a successful working relationship with Playtech."
