53 players’ efforts proved fruitless yesterday when they did their best to knock Dave “Devilfish” Ulliott out in a bounty tournament on DevifishPoker.com. Ulliott now adds his first bounty tournament victory to a long list of titles accumulating under his belt.
After defeating all his opponents, including “igotabigpp” who came second in the recent Devilympics, Ulliott said, “It’s amazing. With everyone gunning to take the ’fish out I have more trouble to avoid in the bounty tournament than most. I love these tournaments, they’re great fun but I never thought I’d win one. It’s my first tournament victory in a while and good for the old confidence.”
The champion did not take home the money this time however, as the €250 bounty added to the prize pool by DevilfishPoker.com now rolls over to the next tournament on Thursday Sept. 4. This means that next week players will get to compete for the chance to knock the poker king off his pedestal, and in doing so, pocket a €500 bounty prize.
