The PokerStars World Championship of Online Poker begins today with the first of 33-events. It is a $215 buy-in, six-handed no-limit hold’em tournament that begins at 1:30 p.m. ET and features a guaranteed $1 million prize pool. There are two events per day leading up to the $5,300 buy-in main event on Sept. 21. The series is offering a wide variety of games, including hold’em, Omaha, stud, razz, H.O.R.S.E., and deuce-to-seven draw. Each event has a guaranteed prize pool, and seven of the events have guarantees of $1 million or more. Players can satellite into all tournaments by competing in multi-table, sit-and-go, and steps qualifiers. A list of upcoming satellites can be found on the PokerStars live WCOOP satellite page.
