Day 1A at the opening stop of the fifth season on the European Poker Tour will begin in Barcelona, Spain, on Wednesday, Sept. 10 at 3 p.m. local time. The no-limit hold’em tournament features an €8,000 buy-in, and there will be two day-one flights. The final table will take place on Sunday, Sept. 14, and it begins at 4 p.m. local time. Players will begin with 10,000 starting stacks and registration is capped at 600 entrants.
Here is a look at the schedule for the Barcelona Open:
Wednesday, Sept. 10: day 1A -- eight levels (3 p.m. start time for all preliminary days)
Thursday, Sept. 11: day 1B -- eight levels
Friday, Sept. 12: day 2 -- eight levels, or down to 32 players
Saturday, Sept. 13: day 3 -- play down to eight players
Sunday, Sept. 14: day 4 -- final table (4 p.m.)
