New Poker After Dark Episodes Premiere Tonight

Mike Matusow and the Mission Impossible Theme is This Week

Mike Matusow has won over $6.5 million in tournaments, but zero in his eight tries on Poker After Dark. The theme for this week’s brand new episodes is Mission Impossible which features Matusow competing against five previous Poker After Dark winners, and the first show premieres on Tuesday at 2:05 a.m. ET on NBC.Match 34 Table

The format is a winner-take-all $20,000 buy-in tournament. Competing against Matusow will be Phil Laak (1-3 PAD record), Phil Hellmuth (3-7), David Williams (1-1), Clonie Gowen (2-4), and Gavin Smith (1-1). These players all have at least one win under their belt and will be doing everything they can to prevent Matusow from breaking his losing streak.

After the Tuesday 2:05 a.m. ET showing, the episodes will continue in the same timeslot for the next five nights. On Sunday, at 1 a.m., a special “Director’s Cut” episode will air and recap the week’s action.
