Bodog is offering CardPlayer.com readers something new this week with two exclusive tournaments. Both have buy-ins of just $5+50¢, and both feature prizes added to the prize pool. The first exclusive event, which takes place on Saturday, will award five seats in this Sunday's $109 buy-in Bodog Poker Open II Kickoff Bounty Tournament as an overlay. The second event, which takes place on Sunday, directly qualifies Card Player readers for the Bodog Poker Open II Event #2.
The first exclusive tournament will be held on Saturday, Sept. 27, at 3:10 p.m. ET. The event is called the CP BPO II Warm-Up Tournament, and can be found by opening the Bodog software, clicking on the “Scheduled Tournament” tab and then selecting the “Private” tab. The password to register is “cardattack” (all lowercase). The event has a $5+50¢ buy-in and an overlay worth $545 dollars, since Bodog is adding five $109 tournament credit prizes. The $5 from the buy-ins will be awarded normally.
The five seats are for the BPOII Kickoff Bounty, which is slated for this Sunday at 2 p.m. ET. The event features $5,000 in added money and $109 tournament credit bounties on up to 20 Bodog-sponsored players. The bounties can be applied to a BPO II main-event satellite.
The second CardPlayer.com exclusive event is on Sunday, Sept. 28, at 4:05 p.m. ET. The event is also called the CP BPO II Warm-Up Tournament, and the password to register is “beerplease” (all lowercase). The event has a $5+50¢ buy-in and an overlayed seat for BPO II event No. 2, worth $215. The $5 from the buy-ins will be awarded normally.
Event No. 2 is a $30,000-guaranteed no-limit hold'em event to be held later that night, on Sunday, at 8:30 p.m. ET. Aside from, of course, the prize money, the winner of event No. 2 also gets entry into a BPO II main-event satellite as an added prize.
