PokerStars Sunday Million
The PokerStars Sunday Million had a $51,000 overlay last night when 7,245 entrants bought in. It takes 7,500 entrants to meet the $1.5 million guarantee by virtue of buy-ins alone. The winner stood to earn nearly $185,000, barring any final-table dealmaking.
When play got down to four-handed, it was Soren “Kongsgaard” Kongsgaard (pictured at left), Chris “cdbr3799” Dombrowski (pictured below), Allanon85, and aty79 who were still in line for the top prize. Kongsgaard finished his deep run in fourth place, earning $69,000, and the remaining three players paused play to discuss a possible deal. Allanon85 had a very decent chip lead, and he gave up some of his share of the by-the-chips chop payouts so that the shorter stacks would agree to a deal. The final guaranteed payouts were: Allanon85, $147,450; aty79, $109,000; cdbr3799, $107,000. Per the PokerStars chopping rules, $30,000 was left on the line for the eventual winner.
Players left the tournament much as three-handed play began, with cdbr3799 bowing out first, in third place, and then aty79 succumbing to Allanon85’s massive stack and finishing as runner-up. Allanon85 raked in the final pot to secure the extra $30K to put his total winnings at $177,450.

Full TIlt $750,000 Guarantee
The Full Tilt $750,000-guaranteed event last night had an overlay, as well. The event lured 3,572 participants, short of the 3,750 needed to meet the guarantee, meaning that Full Tilt had to come out of pocket for $35,600 to match the guarantee. The first-place prize in the event was nearly $133,000.
The final heads-up match for that top prize, the only six-figure prize in the tournament, was between TheDirrty and FadinAway. With a pay difference of more than $32,000 on the line, FadinAway took out his final opponent to snag the first-place prize and the title in the event.

Bodog Poker Open II Main Event
The main event of the Bodog Poker Open II, the biggest tournament in Bodog history, was held last night. The tournament had 477 entrants at $470+$30 apiece. Since the event had a guarantee of $300,000, the site had to fork over $75,810 in an overlay to meet the promised amount, more than 25 percent of the total prize pool. Players effectively got a $629 buy-in tournament for their $470. The first-place finisher stood to earn an even $75,000 for his win in the event.
Team Bodog pro Justin Bonomo (pictured at left) made the final table of the tournament but became the first player eliminated in ninth place ($5,100). The battle for first place was between zubz1aa and El Rubio. With $30,000 on the line between first and second place, zubz1aa became the last man standing in the tournament and the winner of the second BPO main event.
The Bodog $100,000-guaranteed tournaments will continue this Sunday. CardPlayer.com readers should remember to check back on Thursday or Saturday for the password to the Card Player-exclusive Bodog $100K qualifier, a tournament in which Bodog overlays five seats to the event.
The final results were:
UltimateBet $200,000 Guarantee
The UltimateBet $200,000-guaranteed event had 831 entrants last night. That attendance meant that UltimateBet plunked down $33,800 for an overlay in the event. The first-place prize was $45,000.
After 829 players had hit the rail, only stuman123 and NoSoup4UUUU were left contesting the biggest prizes. Stuman123 finally outlasted one more foe to collect the $45,000 top prize. NoSoup4UUUU took $27,000 for second place.
