Bodog Poker is revving up to kick off the Card Player-exclusive Pro Bowl in Paradise tournament series this coming Tuesday. In anticipation of the first event, Bodog is giving CardPlayer.com readers a free opportunity to qualify for the first event via a warmup freeroll tournament. In addition, a bounty will be on player Dan "DanZ1969" Zamarelli's head in the freeroll. (Zamarelli was the winner of the previous Card Player/Bodog promotion, which sent him on a VIP poker trip to Vegas.) Whoever knocks him out gets a free one-year subscription to Card Player magazine.
The warmup event, called the CP Series Warm Up Freeroll, will be held tomorrow (Saturday) at 5:05 p.m. ET. The top 10 percent of finishers in the freeroll will be awarded entry into the first event of the Pro Bowl in Paradise series (a T$11 value) on Tuesday. So, if the tournament has 90 entrants, the entire final table will each earn a seat in the Pro Bowl in Paradise event. The warmup freeroll is open for registration now, and the password to register is "cpprobowl" (all lowercase).
The first event in the Pro Bowl in Paradise will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 28, at 9:05 p.m. ET. It is an $10+$1 buy-in no-limit hold'em event called CP Series Qualifier.
