New poker room to open Saturday, Sept. 17, in northern Florida

Hamilton Jai Alai and Poker will deal the first hands in its new 35-table poker room at noon this Saturday. Jai Alai matches begin at 4 p.m.

The $7 million facility is located off US 129 at Interstate 75 in Hamilton County, Florida, and was developed by Glenn Richards, head of Richmond Entertainment, Inc.

A racebook featuring off-track betting, Jai Alai wagering, live Jai Alai matches, and dining will also be offered at the facility.

Hamilton Jai Alai and Poker will spread limit stakes games only. Texas hold'em and seven-card stud will be the featured games.

The facility is open six days a week (closed Tuesdays) from noon to midnight.
