The WSOP Circuit event that was scheduled to take place from Sept. 29 to Oct. 12 at Harrah's Grand Casino in Biloxi will not be rescheduled.

The Grand Casino in Biloxi received extensive damage from Hurricane Katrina and displaced thousands of people, including about 6,000 Harrah's employees of its three casinos that were in the path of the storm; Harrah's New Orleans and its Grand Casinos in Biloxi and Gulfport.

Harrah's will pay its employees for the next 90 days and will waive all health insurance benefit fees during that time. Employees can receive their pay from any Western Union, free of charge.

The company also has set up shelters for its employees in Lake Charles and Bossier City in Louisiana and Tunica, Mississippi. They will also help relocate employees who want to relocate to any of the many casinos Harrah's owns across the country.
