JC Tran Sees Double in PartyPoker.com Premier League

Tran Wins 10 More Points; Helppi Triumphs Over Obrestad on Day 2

JC TranJ.C. Tran has done it again in his second successive PartyPoker.com Premier League III heat after taking down Vicky Coren heads up. The final hand that did the damage saw Tran raise with A-6 and Coren shove with K-K. An ace hit the flop and it was all over. Ten more points are now added to Tran’s collection.

The other winner of the day was Finn Juha Helppi who also picked up maximum points for a strong performance in heat 3. He beat Norwegian Annette Obrestad heads up when his K-Q cracked Obrestad’s J-4.

It was sad news for the two youngest World Series main event champions Peter Eastgate and Phil Hellmuth as they both busted out of their heats with nothing to their names.
