The Marty Smyth freeroll on BoylePoker.com took place on Dec. 11 offering online players the chance to win five percent of whatever Smyth took home from the Ladbrokes Poker Million VII. This meant that the top prize could be anything up to $50,000, depending on how well the Irish World Series bracelet holder did.
Smyth overcame adversity in the Poker Million when he fought his way back from two big blinds to take down the event and $1 million. Therefore, 50 BoylePoker.com poker players enjoyed the maximum reward from the freeroll, with five percent of Smyth’s million. “mmcgenius” won the most, finishing in first place for $9,800.
