The finals of the Canadian Poker Tour roll into the Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic from Jan. 20 to 22, 2009 and 
PartyPoker.com are hosting qualifiers for the event from as little as $2.
Packages for $8,500 are up for grabs and the winner for the tournament, expected to have a $500,000 prize pool, and the winner of the event can also look forward to a $100,000 year-long sponsorship deal.
Packages include main event buy in and seven night’s luxury accommodation and the main qualifier runs every Sunday evening at 20.10 ET and cost $425 + $35. One package will be available for every 20 players.
