Dani “ansky” Stern is the host of this week's free poker video training clip from Card Player Pro (powered by PokerSavvy Plus). In this video, Stern discusses so-called "Hero Calls" in detail. Stern starts the video by clarifying that what is classified as a Hero Call is really just a call made when the relative strength of your hand is likely greater than your opponent's range of holdings, which means that it is not much different than any other calls good players should be making. He says that you should be more concerned with the action that has transpired than the actual raw value of your hand. He then goes over an example hand illustrating these points, among other considerations, in detail.
