Soren Kongsgaard has signed a contract with Full Tilt Poker and will now be part of its team for the next 12 months at least.
The contract will see the young Dane represent the site in most legs of the European Poker Tour and some World Series of Poker events.
Konsgaard already has some impressive achievements including first place in the Danish Championship at the tender age of 19, and a third place in Monte Carlo in 2007 for $600,000, earning him the “European Rookie of the year” title.
He may have a blank World Series rap sheet but this is only because he has just turned 21, so it will be interesting to see what results he can conjure this summer.
He says, “I am extremely happy and glad about this opportunity... I have played at FTP for many years and I know many of the other team members and they are all great players and persons that I’m now glad to be a part of.”
