According to GamingIntelligenceGroup.com, a warning has been issued to online poker players in Sweden due to a report made to the police by an online player.
Players user ID’s, passwords, and bank details are said to be at risk due to a scam which involves fraudsters acting as the country’s tax authority, Skatteverket. The player who triggered the alarm had fallen victim to the scam after receiving documents and a CD which were made to look as if from the tax authority.
