Ocean's Eleven Casino
Predict the score. Win a couple grand.
Even if you’re one of those people who only watch the Super Bowl for the commercials, you have a chance at free money if you spend Super Bowl Sunday at Ocean’s Eleven.
For the big game, Ocean’s Eleven has decided to reward its patrons by holding several giveaways throughout the day. On Feb. 1, from one hour before the game to one hour after the game, the casino will host several promotions, giving away $500 to $1,000 in each one.
Everyone who is at the casino one hour prior to kickoff will be able to cast his or her prediction for the final score. The winner of the contest receives a cool two grand.
Ocean’s Eleven Casino is also featuring a number of cash drawings on Jan. 25 in honor it its 12-year anniversary. There will be a buffet starting at 1 p.m.
The casino will be hosting its $100,000 championship again this year. Players can qualify by playing in the casino’s daily and monthly tournaments. Ray Wooliever won the 2008 championship for $20,000.
Napa Valley Casino
Napa Valley Casino wants to be the home of the biggest everyday no-limit cash game in Northern California. With blinds at $2-$5-$10 and no maximum buy-in ($300 min), the casino is well on its way to its goal.
Napa Valley prides itself on giving as much money back to its players as possible while taking a relatively small rake. In 2008, the casino awarded its players $644,000 in giveaways and it looks to give away $1 million in 2009.
Napa Valley has a regular no-limit hold’em game with a $50-$200 buy-in going at most hours, often getting enough players for two tables. The poker room even accepts call-ins. A player can call (877) NVC-CHIP or (707) 644-8851 up to an hour before he arrives to put his name on the list.
There are some changes happening to the Northern California casino this year. The poker room has ordered brand-new chairs for its players. But some things are going to remain the same, like the room’s Monster Bad Beat Jackpot.
All no-limit games are eligible for jackpots and high-hand bonuses.
