Before its February Deep Stack Extravaganza series has even kicked off, the Venetian has released the schedule of its April version of the popular tournament series.
Deep Stack Extravaganza II will run April 1-25, with 24 events ranging from $330 to $2,500. Like previous series, the vast majority of the events will be $330 no-limit hold’em events, but there will also be pot-limit Omaha, H.O.R.S.E., and Omaha-eight-or-better at that price level.
Players can find some more expensive action on the weekends, with a $530 tournament on Saturdays and a $1,070 tournament on Sundays.
With an optional $10 staff bonus, players will start out with 12,000 in chips in the $330 events, and 15,000 in chips in the $550 and $1,070 events. There will be 40-minute levels for the $330 and $550 tourneys, and 60-minute levels for the $1,070 events.
The $2,500 main event, with 20,000 in starting chips and 90-minute levels, will commence April 23.
February’s DSE series, the first of the year, begins Sunday, Feb. 1.
