Chilipoker Signs Deal to Enter French MarketStrategic Partnership with French Internet Service Provider Ahead of Regulatory Change in France |

Chiligaming, owner of Chilipoker, today announced it has entered into a strategic partnership with leading French Internet service provider, Illiad with a view to entering the market when online gaming is regulated in France.
The company said in a statement today that, “This opportunity will give us access to their 4.2 millions household and 12 millions users when the french regulation will allow it. It will be the first time in Europe that a big ISP is entering into the online gaming and we are very proud that they have choose us to promote our own 'chili' brands to their customers.”
Iliad, which released its 2008 results today said it had, “... has set up a strategic partnership with Chiligaming (Gaminvest Holding Ltd Group) with the prospect of the opening of the gaming market in France. The objective of this partnership is to eventually develop an online game offering in France as soon as the French regulatory environment permits it.”
In 2008, Chiligaming had net gaming revenue of over $8 million and employs 35 people. It aims to launch sportsbook (chilibet), bingo (chilibingo) and casino products (chilicasino) this year.
In November 2008 French casino group Partouche was also reported to be readying itself for a move into its home online gaming market.
