Boylepoker.com has announced details of its upcoming March Madness weekend in Dublin aimed at raising money for the Poker for the Homeless fundraising team from March 27 to 29 at the city’s famous Jackpot Club.

The festival kicks off on Friday night with a €100 + €10 no-limit hold’em freezeout where the registration fee and 20 percent of the prize pool will be donated to Poker for the Homeless. Former Miss World Rosanna Davidson will usher in the tournament with “shuffle up and deal’ at 9 p.m. sharp.

Saturday night sees the final of the Jackpot Club League Final with an estimated prize pool worth €30,000 and Boylepoker.com will shortly be announcing a special online sponsorship promotion with the final table held live in the Jackpot club on this evening.

Sunday 4 p.m. brings a much anticipated €100 + €10 no-limit hold’em team event limited to 27 teams of 4 (€400 + €40 Padraig Parkinsonper team) with registration fee again donated to Poker for the Homeless. Sixty percent of the prize pool will be paid to the first three teams while 40 percent will go to the nine final table players.

As well as the appearance of Ms. Davidson the organisers are promising a host of former Irish Open winners will take to the felt to support the fundraiser while Boylepoker.com is chipping in  a sizable donation to Poker for the Homeless and will provide lots of spot prizes and bounties over the course of the weekend.

Padraig Parkinson, ambassador for Poker for the Homeless, said, “This is a great boost for the charity and thanks to Charles Harbourne of the Jackpot Club and Paul Spillane of Boylepoker for donating their time and effort to making this happen. We hope to raise a substantial sum and I can guarantee these events will sell out and everyone will have a blast while trying to win a few quid and helping a good cause.”

Poker for the Homeless is Europe's leading poker fundraising event. In January it raised almost €40,000 at the Irish Poekr Championship and has, to date, raised more than €140,000 of Irish homeless charities.
