The Game Show Network, home to several poker shows, is set to determine if age does really matter when it comes to poker prowess.

GSN's Poker Royale: Battle of the Ages premieres with two back-to-back episodes starting at 10 p.m. Friday, November 4.

The seven-episode series features two teams of six players each. Past takes on the theme include pros versus comedians, pros versus celebrities, battle of the sexes, and a battle between the "James Woods Gang" and the "Phil Laak's Unabombers."

During each match, three players from each team play a game of no limit Texas hold'em and earn points based on how they finish the game. The top three point earners from each team will battle it out at the final table in the two-hour
grand finale, with the winner taking home a prize of $50,000.

The folks representing the aged masters are TJ Cloutier, Dan Harrington, "Miami" John Cernuto, Barbara Enright, Maureen Feduniak, and Wendeen Eolis.

The team of young upstarts contains Michael "The Kid" Gracz, Dutch Boyd, Erin Ness, Evelyn Ng, Jennifer Leigh, and Kasey Thompson.

John Ahlers will host the series, and Robert Williamson III will handle poker analysis. The program airs every Friday with two back-to-back episodes as part of GSN's Casino Night.
