Las Vegas From Home Entertainment.com, Inc. (LVFH), has become the "executive title sponsor" of the Heartland Poker Tour, a televised poker show that focuses on regional, low-buy-in events in Minnesota and Wisconsin.

LVFH is an e-gaming software development and provider company that leases products to many online poker sites, includiung KoreaCasino.com, and IslandPoker.com. It also owns ActionPoker.com.

The Heartland Poker Tour filmed its first episode this summer, which it aired on seven stations throughout the Midwest. With buy-ins ranging from $250 to $550, the events are designed so that the average player can take part, said Greg Lang, cofounder of the Heartland Poker Tour.

LVFH has been a sponsor of the Heartland Poker Tour from the beginning. In a press release, a company spokesman wrote that by becoming the title sponsor of the series, it will increase the visibly of its Action Poker brand.

"They have been a great partner thus far in the early stages," Lang said. "They've been a good partner as it relates to helping to fund the project and getting some projects off the ground."

LVFH plans to hold satellites to Heartland Poker Tour events on ActionPoker.com, and players will be able to buy in directly to the events online. As a title sponsor, LVFH's name will appear with the name of the event.

Lang says the Heartland Poker Tour has three goals: create great poker events that the players think are fair and fun, create a great event for the casinos, and create great reality poker TV.

"It's been a lot of fun. That's essentially why we started the company," Lang said. "We just thought there was a great need out there with reality poker. Real people playing poker."

And just because it's a regional series doesn't mean the Heartland Poker Tour skimps on production. Twelve cameras film final table action. That's enough to require the use of a special television truck.

"There's a lot of cables," Lang said.

Although the next three events take place in Minnesota, Lang says the company is talking to casinos in Michigan and Illinois for next season. Filming continues this weekend at the Seven Clans Casino in Thief River Falls, Minnesota.
