Dan Harrington to Play in Irish Open 2009

Harrington Joins Star-Studded Field at 2009 Irish Open

Dan Harrington PaddyPowerPoker.com has announced the addition of another poker great to the list of players taking part in the Irish Open 2009.

‘Action Dan’ Harrington is the third former world champion to join the field at Citywest Hotel in Dublin in just over one week’s time, with Jamie Gold and Noel Furlong already registered.

Dan Harrington last played in the Irish Open in 2007, but is widely known as the player who made two consecutive final tables in the World Series of Poker main event (2003 and 2004). He is also one of only five players who owns both a WSOP main event title and a World Poker Tour title.

As one of the world’s most sucessful tournament players, he has live tournament winnings of more than $6,500,000.
